She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), American Association of Neuromuscular and Neurodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM) and the American Medical Association (AMA).
After graduating from Brown Medical School, Dr. Reddy completed his general neurology training at the University of Texas. He underwent training in EMG and nerve conduction studies under Dr. Robert C. Hermann from the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Reddy then completed a fellowship in neuromuscular medicine and EMG with Dr. James F. Howard at the University of North Carolina, where he also served as a Clinical Instructor. Dr. Reddy is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (board certified neurologist) and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM).
Dolly B. Roy, M.D., Ph.D. Dr. Dolly Roy is a general neurologist with a practice emphasis in multiple sclerosis. Dr. Roy graduated summa cum laude from Washington University where she majored in biochemistry, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Mortar Board. She continued at the School of Medicine at Washington University in the Medical Scientist Training Program in which she earned a PhD (Developmental Biology) and MD. Part of her doctoral research was recognized by the American Heart Association’s Stroke Council for trying to engineer a more effective tissue plasminogen activator enzyme (t-PA), the current drug of choice for acute ischemic stroke. She completed her neurology training at Stanford. There, she conducted basic research in Dr. Larry Steinman’s laboratory and helped to identify a possible new therapeutic option in multiple sclerosis. Dr. Roy developed her clinical skills in multiple sclerosis under the guidance of Dr. David Brandes in Northridge. Dr. Roy translates positive clinical care from a solid basic science background. She has published her work in journals including Nature, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Journal of Biological Chemistry, among others. Dr. Roy is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
